April 7th: Foodie Con 2018

 

Do you consider yourself to be a bit of a food connoisseur? If so, then this is the perfect place for you, and even if you’re not then this is a great way to get out and broaden your horizons. To experience the latest trends in food along with some different cultural experiences. There will be various food vendors including food trucks, craft breweries, wineries and so much more! This will be taking place on April 7th from 11AM-5PM and also on April 8th from 11AM-4PM. Tickets range from $10-$15 per adult and children are able to attend for free! Don’t miss your chance!

 

April 14th: Chalk Art Festival

 

Come watch artists turn cement into brightly colored pieces of art at this year’s Chalk Art Festival! This is an event that is sure to leave you in awe regardless of your age. Do you have a child that enjoys drawing and showing off their artistic abilities? There will be registration for aspiring artists of ages 12 and under, too! Head down on Saturday, April 14th to not only see some chalk masterpieces, but to show your support for Autism awareness! If that wasn’t enough for you, then know that there will also be italian ice served by Scooter’s Italian Ice! Don’t miss out on this festival that will guarantee to leave you with a smile.

 

April 19th: Annual Open House: Children’s Advocacy Center

 

The Children’s Advocacy Center for Child Abuse Assessment and Treatment will be open this April on the 19th. Come down and learn about their services and have an opportunity at networking with their multidisciplinary team members. Also, be sure to bring in any toys that your own child may not need and be entered into a special drawing! April 28th: Craft Beer, Wine and Food Fest

 

Are you someone that enjoys endless foods, wines and craft beers? This is certainly the place for you and some of your best mates. If you’re not satisfied with that, then there will also be live music and dancing. There’s a little bit of everything, even a silent auction! Advanced admission is available for $95 and the price at the door will be $105. You must be 21 years or older to attend this event, so make sure you grab a babysitter for the kids and head down to the Craft Beer, Wine and Food Festival for a great time!
