 At Partee Insurance, we value your business and the trust you have placed with us.  We would like to assure you that we are serious about keeping your personal information private before, during and after your business relationship with us.  This notice describes our policy regarding the collection and disclosure of nonpublic personal information; how and when we use it and how we protect that information.
 Information We May Collect:  We obtain most of our information directly from you.  Depending on the nature of your insurance transaction, we may need additional information about you or other individuals proposed for insurance.  We collect nonpublic personal information about you as required by the insurance companies including:
 ·         Information you provide us on applications or other forms such as your name, address, phone number, occupation, current employer and social security and driver’s license  numbers;
·         Information we receive from public record sources regarding your home such as property age and size;
·         Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or previous insurers; such as your policy coverage, claim information and history, premiums and payment history;
·         Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency such as Choicepoint which is obtained for the purpose of ascertaining credit histories.  These reports are not subject to race, gender or income. (Please note that we do not share your credit information with anyone.)  Motor vehicle reports may also be requested from the State to disclose driving history.
 Information Use and Disclosure:  We use this information to underwrite your insurance and to meet your ongoing customer service and claims handling needs.  We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. 
 For example, to complete applications and forms, we may need to provide your nonpublic information to market your insurance coverage directly with insurers and providers.  We also may disclose this to non-affiliated third parties.  These companies must also maintain the privacy of your personal data.  For example, we may disclose your information to:
  • Third party service providers and experts, such as independent claims adjusters handling your claim
  • Insurance institutions to detect or prevent fraud (please note that the information we obtain from an insurance support organization may be retained by that company and disclosed to other persons)
  • Insurance regulators or law enforcement entities as require by law
  • Actuarial firms that conduct studies that do not identify individuals
  • Other companies as permitted by law.
 Our Practices Regarding Information Confidentiality and Security:  Partee Insurance places a high priority on keeping your information secure.   Our employees are bound by a Confidentiality Policy, which limits access to customer data to those employees who need it to perform their job functions.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal and state regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information in the strictest confidence.
 Your Right to Review and Correct Information:  We do not sell your information to any third parties for marketing purposes.  However, our policyholders have the right to access the nonpublic personal information we maintain about them in our records.  We may charge a reasonable fee to collect and send the data to you.  If you are a current policyholder and wish to review your personal information, please provide a written request to:

 Your request should include your name, address, policy number, and a description of the data you wish to review.  We will respond within 30 days of receipt of your written request.  Should you find any errors, you may send us a written request for correction.  We will act on your request within 30 days of receipt.
  Your Right to Opt-Out:  If you choose to disclose personal financial information to nonaffiliated third parties, you may elect to ‘Opt-Out’.  To do so, please call our office at 1-800-407-2783 or email us at partee@parteeinsurance.com.  You may also send a written request to the address above.
