Wayne is the President and CEO of Partee Insurance Associates, Inc. Wayne was born in the San Gabriel Valley in 1946. In November, 1972 he left the family insurance agency in Whittier and founded Partee Insurance Agency in Covina. 40 years later Partee Insurance still calls Covina home although they write accounts in several states nationwide.Wayne is a second generation insurance broker having followed his father into the industry. First licensed in 1970 he has more than forty two years experience in all lines of insurance. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), a professional designation achieved by only a few people in the industry and most recently obtained his Certified Workers’ Compensation Advisor (CWCA) designation.He has served as a director of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of California. Wayne is a member of the Covina Rotary Club and in 2012 he was a co-chair of the very successful Field of Valor, hosted by the Covina Rotary Club. He serves on both the YMCA and Valencia Heights board of directors.
Wayne stresses service above all else to his clients and his community. He continues to give his time, talent and treasure to a number of local organizations.
Sylvia has more than fifteen years of experience in the insurance industry and began her career at Partee Insurance in 1996 as a Personal Lines Account Manager. She has since moved to the Commercial Lines Department and handles servicing and sales in the Premier Accounts Division.
Sylvia is proud to have obtained the prestigious Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation as well as the Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist (CWCS) and Certified Professional Insurance Women (CPIW) designations and continues to further her education in the insurance field.
Currently Sylvia is serving a second term as vice-president of the Insurance Women of San Gabriel Valley.
Barbara is the accounting manager for Partee Insurance and has worked for the agency since 1989. Barbara joined our agency after working for a CPA firm for nine years. Barbara is the agency’s Human Resources director and she also handles the IT issues for the agency.
Barbara is dedicated to the development of teams and the role they play in helping the agency reach its goals. She currently serves as the Team Leader for Partee’s Leadership Team – the unit created to handle management issues within the agency.
She has previously served as vice-president of the Western Users Group of Applied Systems, a sub-chapter of the international organization that keeps other agencies informed and trained on the management system that thousands of insurance agencies use.
Patricia began her insurance career in 1985, obtaining the Life & Disability Insurance license and later her Property & Casualty insurance license. She now has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.
As the Commercial Insurance Marketing Manager, Patricia will tailor insurance programs by identifying exposure to loss and then find solutions to mitigate risk. Solutions are created to meet the specific needs of each client through risk management principles and insurance contracts. The goal is to provide a comprehensive and cost effective commercial insurance program.
Patricia’s experience in working with various industries provides a broad knowledge base. She takes pride in her commitment to client advocacy and considers herself an extension of the Client’s Risk Management Team. To solidify her dedication to professionalism, Patricia has successfully completed the National Insurance Courses and Examinations providing her with the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
David has been a Commercial Insurance Agent for 31 years and with Partee Insurance for 21 years. Prior to coming to the Commercial Insurance industry, David owned a retail store after spending 16 years with Sears where he was both a national and international buyer. David’s specialty is manufacturers, distributors and wholesale insurance programs. This relates well to his background in marketing, production and product development. His knowledge of distribution as well as importing and its special problems and opportunities, offers his clients an advantage in customer savings.
David graduated from the University of Georgia and has post-graduate work in financial analysis. He has obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Workers’ Compensation Advisor (CWCA) and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations. David is a past president of Kiwanis International in Glendora, CA and has served a number of other community service organizations.

Stefanie is currently in the process of obtaining two designations: CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and CWCS (Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist) as she believes it is beneficial to herself and clients to expand her insurance knowledge as much as possible.
Volunteerism is a very important part of Stefanie’s life. She volunteers for the San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity where she was recently given an Order of the Helping Hands award. In addition, she is actively involved with the Downtown Women’s Center.
When Stefanie is not assisting Partee clients or volunteering, she can be found reading and writing her first novel.
Jesse O. Duarte joined Partee Insurance in 2010 as part of our Commercial Lines Team, working his way from an IT Sales consultant for 5 years to a Life/Health Insurance Agent for 4 years.
Jesse enjoys the challenge of working in the insurance industry and prides himself on exceptional service. His 10+ years in the sales field provides Partee a valuable addition to our Commercial lines team. Jesse recently attended the Hartford Account Managers School for 2 weeks and obtained his CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist) designation.
Jess was born and raised in California and currently lives in Apple Valley, CA. He enjoys family time with his 3yr old son and Fiancé. Jesse also enjoys playing basketball and watching his local Dodger and Lakers teams.
Tootie Norton has been part of the Partee Insurance team for 5 years. Tootie began her career in the insurance industry working in the claims and legal department while continuing to develop her skills in human resource management. She came to the agency having over 10 years of experience working in human resource as a Generalist. Her areas of expertise include managing employee relations, workers' compensation, developing and implementing safety training programs, performing investigations, reducing injuries in a workplace, benefits administration, full cycle recruitment, training and development.
Tootie has a certificate in human resource management and a bachelor's degree in management. When Tootie is not assisting Partee clients she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Volunteerism is an important part of Tootie's life she is actively involved in her community volunteering through her church and the organizations she supports.
Deanna recently joined Partee Insurance in June of 2013 and has enhanced the agency with her background and professionalism as a Commercial Lines Account Manager.
She began her insurance career in 2002 as an Assistant in the Marketing Department for a Southern California agency. Shortly after entering the insurance industry, Deanna became an Administrative Assistant in the Commercial Lines Department of that agency. Having found a desire to make insurance her career, Deanna obtained her Property and Casualty insurance license in 2003.
Deanna continues to seek knowledge to supplement her career and is looking forward to obtaining her first insurance designation. Always placing the needs of her clients first, she strives to serve them with the highest knowledge, professionalism, and care that they deserve.
Born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, Deanna has remained in the area with her husband and son and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Maricela joined Partee Insurance in March, 2015 as an Assistant Account Manager for our Commercial Lines Department.
She began her insurance career in 2001 working at a few agencies in their claims departments. After obtaining her insurance license in 2012, Maricela worked as a CSR before finding her home with Partee Insurance. As someone who thirsts for knowledge, she is constantly learning more about the insurance industry to better serve her clients. To that end, Maricela is working to completed her AINS designation in 2017.
She resides in the San Gabriel Valley, with her husband and son.
Melissa Rodriguez has come to Partee with over 13 years of experience in the insurance industry. She has previously worked as a marketing executive for a large insurance company and is currently an independent agent selling group benefits.
For the last 8 years Melissa has specialized in life, health and all forms of benefit insurance.
Melissa is bilingual in English and Spanish and strives to make sure she goes above and beyond for all of her clients. Melissa is married with a 5 year old son and a 10 month old baby girl.
Ana joined Partee Insurance in September, 2011 as an Account Manager for our Personal Lines Department. Her quiet demeanor and pleasant personality is a great fit for our office. Ana began her insurance career in 1999 working as a receptionist/CSR. She obtained her insurance license in 2002 and has worked many years as a CSR for different insurance agencies.
As someone who thirsts for knowledge, she is constantly learning more about the insurance industry to better serve her clients. To that end, Ana completed her AINS designation in 2015. Ana was born in Maldonado, Uruguay, and moved to the US in 1996. She resides in West Covina with her husband, Peter, and two children, Nichole and Franco.
Veronica joined Partee Insurance December 2012 as a Personal Lines Account Manager.
With over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, Veronica began her insurance career as a receptionist/CSR and soon worked her way to Account Manager/Manager Assistant, specializing in Personal Lines.
Veronica loves helping people and goes above and beyond for her clients and teammates. With a strong desire to better sure our clients' needs, Veronica completed her AINS designation in 2015.
Some of the activities Veronica enjoys include practicing archery and camping with her husband and their dog, Kody.
Melissa joined the Partee in 2014 as the Director of First Impressions. She embraced her role in the company and in doing so, became interested in the Insurance business. When presented with the opportunity to join the Personal Lines team, she jumped at the chance. Melissa obtained her Property & Casualty License in 2015 and is now the Assistant to the Personal Lines department. Melissa is looking forward to working towards earning her designations and becoming a Personal Lines Account Manager in the near future.
Melissa lives in Irwindale with her boyfriend and son. She enjoys reading anything she can get her hands on, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
J.D. “joined the Partee” in April 2011 as a member of our Social Media Team, The Moo Crew. He is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in History.
J.D. has been umpiring baseball since he was in high school. This has led him to be adept with socializing and managing a wide variety of people. His unique background gives the Moo Crew a fresh perspective on how to approach, and mingle with, other people.
Born and raised in Corona, J.D. is always looking for something to occupy his time. His hobbies include going to the gym, playing adult league softball, fantasy football, and enjoying the hot spots of L.A. and Orange County. His favorite hobby of all is to enjoy the company of his friends.
