Partee Insurance Scholarship
Partee Insurance proudly supports education and specifically enjoys a close relationship with Cal State Fullerton's Mihaylo College of Business & Economics
In 2008, the employees of Partee Insurance created the Wayne M. Partee Scholarship to assist students enrolled in their Insurance Studies program. Each year, Partee's employees contribute to this scholarship honoring their employer.
After the untimely death of a valued employee last year, Mr. & Mrs. Wayne M. Partee created a Partee Employee Scholarship honoring Kelley Young who worked as an Account Manager for Partee Insurance for 13 years.
The entire staff at Partee Insurance Associates, Inc. is happy to provide assitance to students interested in entering the insurance industry after graduation. This year it is a great honor to be able to have both scholarships presented at Cal State Fullerton's Scholarship awards ceremony.
Operation Santa Clothes
Operation Santa Clothes provides more than just clothes... their mission is to provide for the welfare of disadvantaged children, including self-esteem, necessities of life, character development, social skill development, family assistance, mentoring, recreation and health care.
Operation Santa Clothes was founded in 1994 by the Covina Sunrise Rotary Club to provide clothing and shoes for needy children at the local elementary schools. Partee Insurance has been participating in the program since 2000.
Partee Insurance and others in the local community have taken time to put a smile on children’s face and given lasting memories. Each year elementary school children are brought to Kmart and they are provided the opportunity to pick out new clothes and a new pair of shoes.
Since the inception of the program almost 25,000 children have received new clothes and shoes, and over 1,500 were clothed this year.
Partee's staff volunteer each year and participate in clothing many underprivileged children from nearby communities.
You can't help but smile when you hear a child tell you that this is the first time they have been able to go to a store and pick clothes out for themselves. It is a great feeling to return to the office after having spent the morning shopping with these children and seeing the joy and excitement when they leave the store with two outfits, shoes and undergarments. We have been blessed to hear the joy in the children’s voices and to see the smiles on their faces.
San Gabriel Valley YMCA
The San Gabriel Valley YMCA was founded in 1912, and has been an integral part of the community. The YMCA has provided the opportunity for resident’s of the community to live a healthy lifestyle. There is a wide variety of programs for all ages offered by the YMCA.
The YMCA is a non-profit organization that relies on the voluntary work of those in our communities. The volunteers assist in the day to day activities of the YMCA, as well as the preparation and establishment of programs.
Partee Insurance would like to acknowledge the voluntary work of Wayne Partee. He has completed a year’s service as Chairman of the Board for the San Gabriel Valley YMCA. Wayne has devoted 25 years of service to the YMCA. We appreciate the time and work you have dedicated to the community.
